Laurel Hall | Enchanted Wedding | Emma & Sam

Picture of bride and groom standing in front of Laurel Hall

Did you know that there is a castle on the east side of Indianapolis? Ok, maybe this venue is not "technically" a castle, but you when enter the manor of Laurel Hall, it feels like you are walking into a castle. What a stunning back drop for Emma & Sam's enchanted wedding.

Emma & Sam chose to have their wedding ceremony in the valley area on the side of Laurel Hall. The greenery on the trees looked like an enchanted forest. The best view of the day was seeing Emma walk down the majestic staircase with her parents, as she made her processional.

Wedding ceremony under a very green forest type area.
Told you it looked like an enchanted forest!

Emma and & Sam took full advantage of all the perfect photo spots at Laurel Hall.

One of the interesting facts about Laurel Hall, their weddings are "moving weddings", which means everyone is moving through out the day. Between their ceremony and reception, we spent time in 4 areas / rooms.

After being introduced, Sam and Emma took a few minutes to welcome and thank their guests for being a part of their wedding day. If you read my previous blog, this is something I recommend to all the couples I work with. I think it is a great personal touch and wedding guests always appreciate this gesture.

Emma & Sam went with a classic cake look, with a classy cake topper, with their new married name.

Their day was full of memories, including a surprise video slide show, orchestrated by the best man

Before we moved to the solarium for the first dances, Emma and Sam decided they wanted to test fate with the shoe game. The game involves a series of questions were the answer was either Sam or Emma. The idea is to see if they will agree on the answer by lifting up the same shoe. While they got almost every question correct, you can see the surprised look on Emma's face, when Sam is not holding up her shoe in the above picture.

When it came time for the first dances. We moved everyone over to the Solarium room. As you can see in the above pictures, the room makes for stunning pictures.

First Dance Song List:

After the first dances were over, Emma & Sam, along with all their guests were in full fledged celebration mode!!

Other Special Songs Played:

Anniversary Dance: Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis

Emma and Sam had quite the memorable final dance. They picked the theme song from the TV series "The Witcher". It was truly an amazing site to watch them surrounded by all their friends and family singing along with them. You couldn't have asked for a better way to close their special day!

Final Dance: Toss a Coin to Your Witcher by Sonya Belousova

Congratulations Emma & Sam for the perfect wedding day. They were actually married in a small private ceremony earlier in the summer. They choose to push their large celebration to a later date. It turned out to be the perfect decision for this beautiful couple. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.
